Koon James:

... was born (Anukoon Siriowattana) on the 22nd December 1975 in Bangna, Thailand, where he spent his first 13 yearskoon.jpg (16282 bytes) until 1988 when he moved to join his mother, Nat, in England.

Having finished his secondary education at Sydney Stringer School & Community College, Coventry, England he first worked as a french polisher and then as a marble worker, constructing fireplaces.

His first sporting love is football, having been a loyal Liverpool fan for all of living memory. Now however, in his middle age, he hardly plays soccer at all, which gives him more time for golf, a sport he has played well since he first arrived in England winning too many prizes and trophies to remember. His current handicap, from Brandon Woods Golf Club, England, is 13.

He moved back to Thailand in December of last year with the sole intention of opening the Internet Cafe which you now see before you.....

Nat James:

... was born (Natch Viroonrod) on the 16th September 1953 in Bangna, Thailand, where she grew up and mothered 2 sons, Koon & Kit in her first, short-lived marriage.

natport.jpg (19902 bytes)In 1985 she remarried and has lived in England with her husband Tim and two sons until recently.

Nat was famous in England for her cooking, and described by her father-in-law Alf James as being able to cook the best roast beef and yorkshire pudding he had ever eaten. She also undertook catering contracts for local pubs and clubs with great success and hoped to become a hotel proprietor in the Isle of Wight on Tim's retirement in 1996. However, due to circumstances beyond their control Tim did not retire until 1999, by which time the "cheap hotel" idea was unworkable.

So, having sold their large house in Allesley, Coventry  they now plan to buy and rent flats in the UK, leaving them free to help their children with whatever business ventures  they may set forth upon in Thailand ... of which James Internet is the first ...

Tim James:

... was born (Timothy Richard James) on the 12th March 1948 in St Nicholas Street, Coventry, England, a few hundred yards from his present Coventry Home in Drapers Fields.timport.jpg (24986 bytes)

He was educated at Hearsall Juniors, then Henry VIII Grammar School and left school at 18 to become an articled clerk and later partner in the Coventry firm of Luckmans, chartered accountants, until his retirement in March 1999.

Throughout his life Tim has always played music - blues in the 60s, jazz in the 70s, rock in the 80s and back to blues again in the 90s. But check out the Tim James one-man Blues Band website for an awful lot of further details.

He hopes in future to spend 6 months in England and 6 months in Thailand out of every calendar year ... but if pushed he will spend 12 months in Thailand ...

Nui James:

... was born (Suannee Pulmeun) on the 9th April 1971 in Bangna, Thailand, achieved a BSc in Accountancy from Toolakit Bandit University in 1994. She is Nat's neice with the "honorary" James title.

nui.jpg (15388 bytes)Nui now works in the accountancy department of a shoe manufacturing company where her talent is wasted.

How would we have  started this business without Nui? She found us the premises and all the major suppliers and was a negotiator par excellence in that at the sign of any truculence we would threaten to "set Nui onto 'em".

One can only say " thank you" a thousand times ... especially for introducing us to ...

Tee James:

tee.jpg (16227 bytes) ... was born (Rungsun Jungamnuaychai) on the 22nd May 1986 in Samutprakran, Thailand and attended King Mongkut Institute of Technologgy, Bangkok, graduating as Batchelor of Science (power engineering) in 1999.

He now works as a schoolteacher for his day job and offers invaluable help to people like us trying to get to grips with modern technology.

We first met him as a computer salesman and we now wonder just how we would have opened the "Caff" without his help, which has been considerable ... even down to the signs on the door, over the door, and the pictures on the wall ... if only all farang computer salesmen were like Mr Tee ...
