| So we set off
from Banbury at 6.00 am on Saturday the 13th October 2001 with Jeff's
Coaches, collected more drunkards between Didcote and Reigate, boarded the
Euro tunnel in the afternoon and arrived at the Ibis Hotel, Tourcoing,
France at about 4.00 pm local time. Swift showers and French beers then off to Belgium where we arrived at the Diksmuid Beer Festival at about 7.00 pm. We spent all of about half an hour in the festival itself and the rest of the night in a bar in the town square. So yes, we made a 700 mile round trip to spend a night in a pub.
