Last
November my family moved into a brand new house with an L shaped, sloping
piece of mud for a garden.
I was finally
persuaded by my grandson (in the pictures) to give him somewhere to play
football.
So, as I originally wrote this
review, there were builders, merchants' lorries arriving with slabs, timber
and tons of sand & cement. And no, I had no intention of trying to do the job myself, a
bunch of guys were arriving in the morning to transform the "mudscape".
The idea of the Geoff
Hamilton software was to get an idea of what we could do with a small, split
level garden. After a few hours ' work I had pictures & plans for a few
alternatives. At the end of the day, I took my suppliers' advice, but the
final scheme is at least a collection of ideas which I would never have
managed without being able to see what was being suggested.
Then, having learned how
to create houses, roads and what have you, I got to enjoy CAD design and
carried on creating the whole estate.
Oh well, it kept me off
the streets ... and the golf course.
